Our Vision
Our Vision For The Future
Be A Shining Light For Those Who Suffer From Poverty And Exploitation.
To work towards a world where the freedom and dignity of every human being is valued and protected. To strive for a society where ‘no-one is left behind’ or deprived through poverty. To eliminate modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms, and support those who work tirelessly against it.
In 2020 the Galileo Foundation will launch some new initiatives:
- A collaboration with the Vatican Museums to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of the Raphael, perhaps the greatest Renaissance painter.
- A conference at the Institut Catholique de Paris to examine theological pathways for LGBT Catholics.
- The inaugural ‘Faith and Philanthropy’ Summit at the Vatican, bringing together the world’s philanthropists of all faiths to examine how successful philanthropy can change the world.
